Sports Massage

Our expert therapists use a range of techniques to treat problem areas, reduce pain, promote healing and prevent injury before and after training. Sports massage will help people suffering from back pain, sore muscles, tennis or golferís elbow, shin splints, whiplash, ankle or knee sprains and repetitive strain injuries. Reflexology

ReflexologyReflexes on the feet are considered to represent a map of the body. Gentle pressure is applied to reflex points on the soles and tops of the feet, which can ease tension, re-balance energy, stimulate the nervous system and address specific health problems such as digestive disorders, insomnia and fertility. It works on many levels, interweaving a balance between deep relaxation of the body and mind whilst restoring the internal organs to a more natural healthy balance.

Reiki

Japanese for ëUniversal Life Forceí, Reiki is a form of healing which enhances the bodyís ability to heal itself. This ëhands offí treatment aids deep relaxation eases anxiety and soothes the mind, body & soul.

Hopi Ear Candling

With roots in Native American Indian culture, Hopi candling is a relaxing treatment using the vibration of air and vapours through a special candle to massage the ear drum. Combined with a facial massage, this gentle treatment can reduce stress and tension in the head, as well as helping alleviate sinus or ear problems. Also helpful before and after flying.

Indian Head Massage

Based on ancient Ayurvedic teachings, massage to the head, upper back & shoulders encourages blood supply to the brain and helps you to think more clearly. It also relieves emotional stress and anxiety and releases tension from the jaw. IHM is ideal for combating headaches, migraines, arthritis, depression and neck and shoulder pains as well as aiding general relaxation and well-being.

Massage for pregnancyWe specialise in ante-natal massage and pressure point techniques, as well as advising on breathing, exercise and nutrition during pregnancy. Calming massage will lift your spirits, calm nerves and help prepare you mentally for the changes a baby will bring to your life. Perfect for combating nausea, relieving aching backs and tense shoulders and helping you connect with your baby. We can also work with couples to prepare them for the big day! Infant Massage

Infant massage is an amazing opportunity for both parent and child to communicate through positive touch. Massaging your baby can strengthen the digestive, respiratory and immune systems, stimulate circulation and promote relaxation and sleep. A course of both group and one-to-one classes are available for new parents to learn a soothing massage routine and develop your childís body and mind awareness and co-ordination.
